Body found during police search for missing Milton Keynes man
Police say they have found a body during a search for a man who was reported missing from Milton Keynes on Saturday August 22.
Formal identification of the body has yet to take place, but police believe it to be Paul Rampton from Downs Barn.
Spotlight, a missing persons Facebook group, reported that Mr Rampton, who was in his sixties, failed to return to his residence on the evening of August 22.
Police said in a statement: “His family has been informed, and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time. We have offered them our support too.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
