Jack Varlow is cycling with his dad Simon from his home in Barleyhurst Park to the "Queen's house" at Buckingham Palace during October half terms.
Already his mammoth mission has earned him more than £1,000 in donations and he plans to give this to his school, Giles Brook Primary on Tattenhoe.

Hide AdJack only learned to ride his bike without stabilisers during lockdown but there has been no stopping him since, said his mum Janine.
"One of his favourite places is London and he’s desperate to ride there with his Daddy," she said. We explained to him that it is a long way and will take a few days but he still wants to do it."
"We also asked him if he would like to raise money while he‘s doing it. He said he would like to give money to his school because he loves it so much and really missed it during lockdown."
Janine said Giles Brook Primary has a great friends association who, like many, are down on their fundraising opportunities this year as the can't run their usual events.
