"One of his favourite places is London and he’s desperate to ride there with his Daddy," she said. We explained to him that it is a long way and will take a few days but he still wants to do it."

"We also asked him if he would like to raise money while he‘s doing it. He said he would like to give money to his school because he loves it so much and really missed it during lockdown."

Janine said Giles Brook Primary has a great friends association who, like many, are down on their fundraising opportunities this year as the can't run their usual events.

Jack and Simon planned to set off at the start of half term and will split the journey into manageable chunks over a few days. In preparation, the youngster has completed a Bikeability course through MK council, which he loved, said his mum.
