The Byron Burger restaurant in Centre:MK is taking bookings for eat-in guests from May 17.

Currently, Byron Burgers are only available across the UK via online ordering service, Deliveroo, and collections from certain stores.

May 17 is the earliest return date for indoor eating and drinking in the UK as per the Prime Minister's roadmap out of national lockdown. Mr Johnson announced a four stage plan to exit lockdown on Monday (February 22), initially, restaurants will only be able to serve customers outdoors only.

Provided the vaccine rollout remains on schedule, the vaccines administered are effective in lowering death rates and hospitalisations, infection rates continue to decline and no new strains of the Coronavirus emerge, outdoor services will resume on April 12.

The reopening of outdoor food and refreshments venues is part of stage two of the roadmap out of lockdown, alongside the reopening of non-essential shops.
