Cases fall as Milton Keynes reaches eleventh day without a Covid-linked death

Today, MK's eleventh day with no Covid-linked deaths, there were aptly just 11 new cases in the borough.

There number of Covid patients in MK hospital has now fallen to 45 and one of these is on a ventilator.

Over the weekend, 27 new cases were confirmed. The city's seven-day case rate has risen slightly to 54.6 cases per 100,000 people today.

For more than a week now, MK's case rate has been below the national average, which currently stands at 56.4 cases per 100,000 people.

Nationally there were 4,654 new cases confirmed today and 23 deaths were recorded.
