The Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul in Newport Pagnell is asking as many townspeople as possible to paint a pebble or small rock in the colour of red.

If they have no red paint, they can cover it in red paper.

The pebbles can then be placed in a 'river' around the base of the cross in the church, which will be opened every morning between November 2 and November 11.

A special Remembrance service will be held on Wednesday November 11. But, due to social distancing, space will be limited so people should call the church office on 01908 611145 if they wish to attend.
