Corporate pancake race will pay for new pillars to be engraved at Milton Keynes Rose
and live on Freeview channel 276
Twelve teams, including one from Milton Keynes Council, took part in the event and more than £500 was raised.
After two heats and a final, the team from Mirus were crowned the winners coming over the line with a time of 3.45.95 seconds.

Hide AdThey were awarded The Frying Pan trophy and also the customary book of Olney Hymns, which was presented by Corporate Pancake Race Director Andrea Cartmell-Brock.
Andrea is former three times Olney Pancake Race winner in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
The £500 proceeds will towards the development of the Milton Keynes Rose, including the engraving of two new pillars.
These pillars, which will be unveiled this summer, will represent National Volunteer’s Week (held over the first week in June) and World Refugee Day on June 20.

Hide AdThe two themes were chosen at the bi-annual meeting of the Pillar Panel.
Chaired by Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, Lord-Lieutenant for Buckinghamshire, the panel is made up from members of the MK community, MK Cenotaph Trust and The Parks Trust.
These organisations meet every other year to decide a new pillar engraving from the pillar submissions from received from community groups.
