Covid case rate in Milton Keynes falls to its lowest level for weeks

The Covid case rate in MK has dropped to below 400 for the first time for several weeks.

The rate now stands at 391.5 cases per 100,000 people. This is still higher than the England average of 309.5 cases per 100,000 people.

Saturday and Sunday saw a total of 170 new Covid infections identified in MK.

Milton Keynes hospital starts its week with 178 Covid patients, eight of whom are on ventilations.

Today's Covid stats will be released later this afternoon.
