Covid case rate remains stable and low in Milton Keynes today

The total number of people who have positive in Milton Keynes since the start of the pandemic is now 18,545, while the total death toll is 427.

Some 124 Covid patients are currently in MK hospital and six of them are on ventilation.

The case rate in Milton Keynes is now down to 131 cases per 100,000 people. This remains lower than the average for England, which is 148.8 cases per 100,000 of the population.

Nationally, there were 10,625 new cases today and 799 Covid-linked deaths.

Throughout the UK, more than 15.57 million people have received their first dose of the Covid vaccine and over 546,000 have also received the second dose.
