Covid cases continue to go down in Milton Keynes but sadly deaths increase
Government figures show 18 more Covid-linked deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours in MK.

Due to delays in recording, the deaths have taken place over the past few days. They bring the city's toll up to 288.
The figures cover all deaths in Milton Keynes that had Covid-19 on the death certificate.

Hide AdSince yesterday, 270 people in MK have tested positive. This is one of the lowest figures for two weeks and it brings the total to 14,235 since the start of the crisis.
After topping 1,000 over the weekend, the city's case rate has today dropped to 848.4.per 100,000 people. But this is still considerably higher than the England average.
The number of Covid patients in MK hospital remains high with 218 occupying beds over the weekend.
Nationally there were 45,530 new cases today and 1,243 deaths.
