Covid cases double today in Milton Keynes

There have been 43 new confirmed Covid cases in MK today and two virus-linked deaths.

This compares to 20 cases and one death yesterday (Monday).

The seven-day case rate in Milton Keynes is now 116.5 cases per 100,000 people. This is still higher than the national average, which is today down to 94.9 cases per 100,000 of the population.

Nationally there were 6.391 new cases and 343 deaths recorded over the past 24 hours.
