Covid cases rise again in Milton Keynes today

Yesterday (Thursday) the numbers dropped to 207 new cases and it was hoped this was the start of a downward trend for MK.
Today's figures bring the total number of cases in the city to 10,485 since the start of the pandemic, and the case rate currently stands at 812.4 cases per 100,000 people.

Hide AdThere have been no new deaths over the past two days and the total still stands at 256.
Milton Keynes hospital is currently nursing 193 patients with Covid and six of them are needing ventilators.
Nationally there have been 53,285 new cases and 613 Covid-linked deaths in the past 24 hours. The UK's total death toll is now 74,125.
