Covid cases rise slightly in Milton Keynes today, on the day Boris Johnson announced roadmap out of lockdown

Over the past 24 hours, 67 positive cases have been confirmed.
For the previous two days, the new cases numbers have been in the forties.

Hide AdThe new death brings the city's sad total to 440, with 30 of these happening the past week.
The number of Covid patients currently in Milton Keynes hospital has gone down significantly 98, compared to more than 200 in January. Three of these current patients are on ventilation.
Today MK's seven-day case rate rose for the first time in four weeks and now stands at 137.3 cases per 100,000 people. This is slightly higher than the national average of 121 per 100,000 people.
Nationally 10,641 people tested positive today and 178 deaths were recorded.
More than 17.7 million people in the UK have now been vaccinated.
