Covid infection rate in Milton Keynes drops as just six new cases are recorded today

Six people have tested positive in MK today and there have been no Covid-linked deaths.

The city's seven day infection rate has dropped to 28.6 cases per 100,000 people. This compares to the national average of 25.2.

Nationally, 2,396 people have tested positive over the past 24 hours and there have been 22 Covid-linked deaths within 28 days of a positive test.

Throughout the UK, 33,139,742 people have now received the first dose of Covid vaccine and 10,775,817 of these have also had the second dose.
