Covid infections and virus-linked deaths decrease in Milton Keynes

There has been just one new Covid-linked death in MK over the past 24 hours, together with 49 new infections.

The city's case rate has today dropped to 204.9 cases per 100,000 people. This is only slightly higher than the England average of 202.5.

MK's death toll now stands at 417 people who have died within 28 days of receiving a positive test.

Nationally, 13,013 people tested positive today and 1,001 deaths were recorded
