Bradley Payne, 28, was killed on the A5 southbound between the junctions of Caldecotte and Fenny Stratford on Saturday March 13.

He had pulled up at the side of the road to change a tyre on his van when he was involved in a collision with a car, say his heartbroken family.

Bradley was dad to two little girls and his partner is pregnant.

His mum Sharon Payne told the Citizen:" Bradley was our fourth child and the centre of our family. Nothing was more important to him than family.

"He worked hard as a scaffolder and bought his own home. Since his death we have been inundated with the most wonderful messages of love and respect for him."

A friend of the family crated a fundraising page with the aim of raising enough cash to pay for Bradley's funeral and help support his children.

The page states: "We recently lost our dear Bradley in a horrid road accident on the A5 in Milton Keynes

"Bradley was out of his van changing a tire on the side of the road when he was struck by a car... He really was just the best and we don’t understand why he was taken from us in such a tragic sudden way."

"Bradley touched the lives of many people. He was the truest of gentlemen, polite, friendly and most of all a complete joker.

"This fundraiser is to make things easier for the family as funerals aren’t cheap, hopefully taking the weight of slightly. Bradley leaves behind a mum and dad, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews. He was also a family man with two beautiful little girls a partner and a baby on the way."
