The site, to open on Thursday December 3, will be run on an appointment-only basis for local people who are showing symptoms.
The car park will be temporarily closed from 5pm next Tuesday, December 1, for the site to be set up . But there will still be some parking spaces available once it is in operation.
Strict social distancing measure will be in pace and facilities on the site will be thoroughly cleaned multiple times a day. Waste will be removed regularly.
A public health spokesman said: "The testing areas will be segregated from all other areas. With an appointment only system, there will not be any queues beyond the site and all efforts have been made to reduce the disturbances to residents.
The site will be open from 8am until 8pm seven days a week for three to six months, depending upon demand.
"Apart from the restricted access to the car park, local people will not be impacted and any disruption to neighbouring properties will be kept to a minimum. There will also be security onsite 24/7," said the spokesman.
