Nightflix Drive-In Cinema will open on September 9 at the Milton Keynes Bowl, with tickets ranging from £29 to £34 plus a booking fee.

John Sullivan, Nightflix's owner, said: “Following the amazing demand we’ve seen with our drive-in cinemas elsewhere in the UK, we are thrilled to bring this experience to a much wider audience."

Christopher Nolan's new blockbuster Tenet will be the main screening, but there will also be timeless classics to suit a range of tastes, Mr Sullivan said.

The cinema will also be showing a range of 'family favourites, epic dramas and musical classics' including Dirty Dancing, 1917, and Toy Story.

A Nightflix spokesperson said audience safety is at the centre of its event planning and all government guidelines on social distancing will be followed, including track and trace measures.
