Eight more patients die at MK hospital and 35 new Covid cases are confirmed over past four days in Milton Keynes

Yesterday (Monday) there were 69 new cases and the weekend the city 164 positive tests.
The deaths of the eight Covid patients at MK hospital were all offiicially reported by the government today. But Public Health England releases its statistics on the day on which death is recorded, which is not usually the day it took place.

Hide AdOf the latest fatalities, one happened last Thursday, four on Saturday, two on Sunday and two yesterday (Monday).
The hospital's death toll is now 138 since the pandemic began, while the total number of MK cases is 3,447 over the same period.
Nationally there have been 11,299 new cases and 608 deaths recorded today. This compares to 15,460 cases and 206 deaths recorded yesterday.
