The girls state they are 'available today'

The girls are advertising their services on adult websites, where they pay extra for the privilege of being flagged as "available today", it has been claimed.

They have been criticised by the owner of one of the city's escort agencies, who temporarily closed down business as soon a lockdown began last year.

"There's no way you can socially distance in this industry, so I felt it was the right thing to do," she said.

There are three pages of girls from MK on this adult website

But it seems some of the other workers are not being so responsible.

The MK Citizen has been shown one adult website where escorts and sex workers from all over the country pay to advertise themselves. They can state whether they take 'In Calls' or 'Out Calls'.

Under 'Milton Keynes' there are currently three pages of girls - around 30 in total - featured as 'available'.

"They have to pay to have ‘available today," she added. They are definitely working and they haven't stopped at all during the Covid crisis," said the agency boss.

"Obviously there are several households mixing with these girls throughout the day. It seems that there is a lot of law flouting go on in MK.

"Some hire a place from private landlords and pay them cash. During lockdown these landlords will probably have declared these premises empty but as the girls are paying cash, they are getting away with it."

Many of the girls advertise themselves as being based in the Central Milton Keynes area.

"Most of them are renting apartments through private lettings companies or for short periods, even a day at a time. But, of course, they don't say want they intend to use it for,"s he added.

"They will advertise on adult websites whilst also using platforms such as Twitter and OnlyFans.

"I've nothing against the sex industry, provided it is properly run and monitored. And these girls are entitled to work in it if they wish. I just think it's totally wrong during lockdown when we have a Covid pandemic."
