The awards are among the most competitive in English tourism, with Gold, Silver and Bronze presented across 17 categories, which are each shortlisted from 21 regional awards.

Rebecca Foy, Director of Public Engagement at Bletchley Park Trust, said: “As an independent museum and charity, for Bletchley Park to place in the Large Visitor Attraction category is recognition of the work of the staff and volunteers of Bletchley Park Trust, front of house or behind the scenes, to provide the best visitor experience possible.”

The win follows Bletchley Park winning gold at The Beautiful South Tourism Awards in December last year. It also comes a week after Director GCHQ, Anne Keast-Butler gave her inaugural GCHQ Annual Lecture in the The Fellowship Auditorium onsite.

Rebecca added: "The win comes at an exciting time for Bletchley Park. We have outdoor theatre productions and Art in the Park on the horizon alongside our beloved 1940s Weekend, and this summer we're thrilled to be launching a brand-new event exploring the Polish and British codebreaking collaboration, a story that deserves to be far more widely known."
