Father and son stopping in Milton Keynes as part of Frank Bruno Foundation 71-mile charity walk for mental health
A father and son are having an overnight stop in Milton Keynes as part of a 71-mile charity walk in aid of The Frank Bruno Foundation.
Dave Young, the chief executive of Independence Support Ltd, and his son Sean, are walking from Wembley Stadium to the foundation’s headquarters in Northampton.
The 71-mile challenge is taking place from March 23 to 27, with the pair’s route on day four going from Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire to Little Linford in Milton Keynes.
After an overnight stop in Little Linford, the final day will go through Milton Keynes to The Frank Bruno Foundation's headquarters in Northampton.

Wembley Stadium has been chosen as the starting point to honour the location where Frank Bruno won his first world heavyweight boxing championship title in 1995, when he beat Oliver McCall on points.
Frank will join the pair for the final mile of their walk on March 27.
Dave and Sean are both involved with the Independence Support Ltd charity, which supports individuals with learning disabilities and those experiencing mental health challenges.
Last year the pair walked 99 miles from Dave’s home in Leicestershire to the charity’s headquarters in Macclesfield, in aid of Independence Support Ltd’s charity partners.

Dave and Sean clocked up 226,651 steps, and raised £3,342 - ideal preparation for this year’s efforts.
Speaking about the challenge Dave said: “Last year showed us what can be achieved when people come together behind a cause that affects so many lives.
“Mental health touches every family in some way, and knowing we already have support building before we’ve even taken the first step is incredibly motivating.
“This challenge will test us physically, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges many people face every day.
“If walking 71 miles helps raise awareness and support even more people through the Frank Bruno Foundation, every step will be worth it.”
A fundraising page set up in the build-up to the walk has raised £915 at the time of writing.
The full route of the walk is as follows:
Day 1 – March 23 – Wembley Stadium to Croxley Green, Watford
Day 2 – March 24 – Croxley Green to The Cow Roast, Tring
Day 3 – March 25 - The Cow Roast to Leighton Buzzard
