Festival for lovers of all things LEGO to be held in Milton Keynes

The Milton Keynes Brick Festival offers a treat for LEGO fans of all ages this month.

The event, billed as "a celebration of all things LEGO" will be held at Stantonbury Leisure Centre on Saturday March 21.

There will be "out of this world" displays, including a large scale Mos Eisley Spaceport diorama from Star Wars, and a huge Great Ball Contraption that’s over 6ft long.

People of all ages can channel their creativity in a LEGO building area and even test their skills in a speed building competition.

"This will be a great day for families, collectors and adult builders alike with lots to see and do," say the organisers Showmasters Events.

The arena will also feature stalls of traders selling bricks and accessories, including vintage sets.

A spokesman for Showmasters said: "Do you have a collection you'd like to sell? Are you a retailer with new or vintage sets, loose bricks or models and brick related merchandise? Then the Milton Keynes Brick Festival is the perfect place for you to sell! We aim to have a variety of stalls for our customers to browse - we only have a limited space so please be sure to book now."

The brick festival runs between 10am and 5pm and tickets prices range from £3 for a child to £15 for a family.
