Firefighters tackle first-floor blaze involving transformer in Milton Keynes
Fire crews were called to a blaze involving a electrical transformer in a first-floor stock room in Centre:MK last night (Thursday).
One appliance and crew from Broughton, one from Bletchley, one from Great Holm and an officer attended.
Firefighters isolated the electricity and used a carbon dioxide extinguisher, electrical gloves and two sets of breathing apparatus.
