Stantonbury councillor Martin Petchey had already donated money from his personal councillor's budget to pay for the Bradville area of his ward to be given a spruce up. the extra cash will now be added to that.

Woughton and Fishermead councillor Hannah O’Neil said the move would be "very welcomed" by residents.

MK Council has already set aside the money to give Conniburrow and Oldbrook a good clean this year after ward councillor Pauline Wallis raised concerns about the rat population.

She said: "We regularly hear from local people with concerns about rubbish and rats in these estates."
