Free play sessions to be held in Milton Keynes parks to amuse children during summer holidays
and live on Freeview channel 276
Parkland Play involves an afternoon of free fun with games and activities that the whole family can enjoy.
Organised by the Parks Trust, the activities on offer include giant garden games, cricket, football, tennis and the Ranger’s litter game.

Hide AdFor younger children there will be play house or colouring-in station. And, at the end of each session, there will be Punch and Judy show or storytelling, followed by a chance to after which you’ll get to try out the ranger trail to explore the park.
All the events are free but, due to social distancing regulations, places must be booked in advance.
A Parks Trust spokesman said: "You’ll need to book into a 20-minute slot, each of which have limited spaces to allow for social distancing and to comply with the current government guidelines surrounding Covid-19.
"In between each slot within the event we will clean the equipment used for everyone's safety. Hand sanitiser stations will be available, and we will ask everyone to use these before and after their session, but please bring your own if possible."

Hide AdThe Parkland Play sessions all run between 1pm and 3pm. The fun kicks off at Willen Lake North on Friday August 21. On Tuesday August 25 the action is at Monkston Park, in the Ouzel Valley, and the final event is on Friday August 28 at Ashland Lakes. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
