Hamleys famous toy store to open in Milton Keynes next week

The famed Hamleys team say they are raring to fire up the bubbles, charge up the flying toys and polish their dance shoes ready to entertain everyone that walks through the doors.

In support of those in the NHS, emergency services, social care sector and armed forces, one lucky family will get the chance for a special behind-closed-doors shopping experience with the Hamley Bear, as part of the Blue Light Card scheme.

Store Manager Jason Taylor said: “To say we are excited is an understatement. We can’t wait to see everyone! It’s time for kids of all ages to be kids again – and there’s no better place to rediscover the magic than Hamleys. Let’s do this,” he said, bubble gun in hand.

Among the array of toys to choose from are Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Magic and Potion Class sets, an array of magic from Peppa Pig, with a special wooden version of the famous red car, and wooden family figures to the Colour-Change Mermaid Barbie.

Hamleys opened in Midsummer Arcade shortly before Christmas, but customers hardly got a chance to visit before the second lockdown struck.
