Central and North West London NHS Trust (CNWL) staff collected the boxes over a three-week period and handed them over to the Foodbank as part of the charity's Santa’s Selection Box Scheme at the Foodbank distribution centre in Stacey Bushes.

Team leader at CNWL Gill Wagle said: “As many of our clients are needing support from Foodbank at the moment, it was lovely for our service to be a part of helping our with a treat for the children."

CNWL said it decided to help out to help increase staff well-being. The well-being group within CNWL identified five key areas which may help to increase staff well-being following a difficult year. These areas were to connect, be active, keep learning, take notice and give.

The service decided to start with give, and because it signposts clients to the local foodbank frequently it decided to help with its campaign.

The service’s next challenge is to be active, which involves an inter-locality challenge with the team gaining the most number of steps in a three-working day period being declared the winners.
