Help reunite lost French Bulldog Gizmo with his Milton Keynes owners in time for Christmas

Little Gizmo slipped his collar, complete with GPS tracker, and bolted during a walk 11 days ago when he was scared of the rain.

His owner Carolyn Moorland was walking him close to her Grange Farm home and scoured the area afterwards in vain.

"He just vanished and there has been no sighting of him since. We miss him terribly and my children are really upset," she said.

"I'm sure Gizmo is out there somewhere and perhaps somebody had taken him in, not knowing he is a much-loved dog. It would be the best Christmas present ever if we could find him."

Gizmo, who is very friendly, is microchipped and all the details are up to date, said Carolyn.

A special Facebook group called Help Find Gizmo Frenchie from Grange Farm has been set up to gather any information or sightings of the little frenchie..

Group spokesman Bev Cook-Abbott said: "Gizmo has seemingly disappeared into thin air. Someone must have picked him up."

She has appealed to dog walkers to keep their eyes open. "Gizmo really is quite distinctive with his markings..Please be alert to any frenchies you see. Try and strike up conversation...Try and get a sneaky photo. He's out there somewhere."

Carolyn is offering a reward for information leading to Gizmo's return,

To anyone who may have taken him in, she says: "If you have found him and are looking after him, I am sure you are taking care of him but please do the right thing... We didn't abandon him, we love him very much and we were unlucky. He slipped his collar with ownership details and GPS tracker in the rain. He has a forever home where he is missed every day.

"We love Gizmo and desperately would like to bring him home. If you have him, please reach out in the knowledge that the only thing we want is Gizmo home. We have no interest in getting you in trouble."

Gizmo is fawn with distinctive white and pink markings around his jowls. He has a white shape feather marking on the back of his head.
