Police and the army rushed to Newport Pagnell in MK on Sunday evening to destroy ammunition found in Chartwell Road.
The ammunition, believed to World War II, was made safe with a controlled explosion in a nearby field.

Hide AdSome residents had to be evacuated from their homes during the incident and were being supported by police and the army.
"Thanks to everyone for their patience while the force and EOD were at the scene," a Thames Valley Police spokesman said.
The scene was made safe just after 8pm.
