The Easter Lamppost Treasure Hunt is designed to keep children entertained in a socially distanced manner over the holidays.

MK Council has hidden nine different letters on the brown redway lampposts around Furzton Lake.

Children are invited to collect all nine letters and unscramble them to spell out a word.

When they've got the word, people can emailed it to the council's highways department, where the first four correct entries picked out at random will win a cuddle Easter bunny toy.

The toys have been donated by the council's highways service provider, Ringway.

There’s no start or end point to the treasure hunt and all the letters are mixed up and stuck on the brown lampposts dotted along the redway route around Furzton Lake.

The stickers will be up between today and Monday 19 April.

Entries should be sent to [email protected]by 5pm on Tuesday 20 April. Please include a name and contact number or email address.
