Lottery windfall comes just at the right time for these Milton Keynes neighbours

Four people in Milton Keynes are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Milfoil Avenue neighbours in Conniburrow netted the windfall when MK14 7DY was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery today (Wednesday, July 15).

And it couldn't come at a better time as many of us are struggling for cash during the coronavirus outbreak.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners.

She said: “Congratulations to our winners. I’m sure this news has made their day and I hope they go and treat themselves with their winnings.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £500million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted by Crisis which has received more than £3.8million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Crisis is dedicated to ending homelessness and helps approximately 10,000 people each year through education, housing, employment and health services across England, Scotland and Wales.
