A spokesman said: "Our venue faces closure because with no income and ever growing bills to pay, the inevitable is in front of us. We have no idea how long this will go on for which is scary to say the least. The Government grant has been welcomed with open arms but it does not touch the sides overall.

"Your donations will be used to help keep up with all costs associated with running a venue, even when the doors are closed."

A spokesman for On The Decks said: "We are a drum & Bass promoter from Milton Keynes and unit nine is our home. We are wanting to do all we can to help save unit nine from potential closure due to Covid-19. We have arranged a 12.5 hour long event to help raise awareness and funds for unit nine and grassroots venues. "
