Meet the 13 tiny piglets that took everyone by surprise on this children's farm in Milton Keynes

A farm that is open is the public is celebrating a whopping litter of 13 piglets.

Thrift Farm on Buckingham Road in Whaddon is now inviting people to come and see the super cute babies, who were born over the weekend to their resident Juliana pig.

The miniature breed commonly has litters of between eight and 10 so staff are over the moon.

In fact, they have just missed out on the UK record for the most Juliana pigs born in one litter. This is currently 14 and held by Kew Little Pigs farm in Amersham.

The Thrift Farm piglets are very tiny but all feeding well and thriving, say staff.

"Nothing prepared us for how adorable they are, said a spokesperson for the farm, which is open to the general public and also an adult social care provision. It supports more than 80 adults per week with learning disabilities and mental health needs, helping them to build communication skills, friendships and learn work-based skills.

This summer, Thrift Farm has slashed its admission prices from £12 per person to £10 by taking part in the Government British Savings Scheme to allow more families to spend memorable days out with their children.

"With so much on offer at Thrift, a £10 ticket is an absolute bargain - we have animal petting, animal feeding, outdoor play, indoor play, mini golf and so much more,” said the spokesperson.

Entry to our Garden Centre and Potting Shed Cafe is free, with no admission to the farm park required.
