Meet the Milton Keynes 12-year-old planning to cycle 30 miles around the city for charity over the Christmas holidays
A 12-year-old from Milton Keynes is planning to cycle 30 miles around the city in aid of charity over the Christmas holidays.
Campbell Creighton from Newport Pagnell is hoping to raise £3,000, which he plans to split between The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND) and Willen Hospice.
Campbell, who plays rugby for Olney Rugby Club’s under-13 team, was inspired to choose the MND charity after learning that former England rugby internationals Lewis Moody and Ed Slater, who started his career at Milton Keynes Rugby Club, had been diagnosed with the illness.
He was inspired to share the proceeds with Willen Hospice, as the Milton-Keynes care based charity helped care for his late grandfather.

Campbell, who is a pupil at Ousedale School in Milton Keynes completed a similar cycling challenge in December 2024, raising £2,205 for the hospice through a 26-mile ride.
He has already secured sponsorship from local and national companies and has already raised surpassed his previous years’ tally via his online donation page, which has reached £2,400 at the time of writing.
Campbell has already received donations so far from sponsors Fusion Multisport, Multisport Distribution, QLM Search, Country & Stable of Olney Limited, thefabpractice, cinch, Marshall Motor Group and Sol Ltd.
