Milton Keynes' busiest road will be closed all this weekend

Work will be carried out on the stretch between Eagle Farm Roundabout up to Junction 13 from 8pm on Friday to 6am on Monday.

This closure is to complete surfacing and other outstanding works, including white lining, safety barrier and signage

But the M1 will be open as usual. Or, for a non-motorway route, drivers can use the A422 signed diversion,

The roadworks are part of the multi-million pound A421 upgrade and dualling scheme, which will involve a dual carriageway being built from the Eagle Farm roundabout down to Junction 13.
