Milton Keynes’ first charity awards seeks sponsors who care about city
A charity awards event is being held in Milton Keynes this summer, to honour unsung heroes across the city.
MK Community Foundation is hosting the very first charity awards in Milton Keynes, celebrating the people, groups and organisations that make this city feel like a community worth belonging to.
The awards ceremony will be held at The Stables on June 29, recognising everything from grassroots volunteers to citywide initiatives.
Nominees will compete across eleven award categories covering education, health, arts, the environment, and more.

Event organisers say that judges are already sifting through applications, and the work being done across the city is truly remarkable.
So far, local sponsors for the awards include MK College Group, Leap, Happy Days, and, BTG Eddisons incorporating Kirkby Diamond. There are still a few more sponsorship spots left, and event organisers are eager to fill them.
Each category sponsorship is exclusive, and brands will get a seat on the judging panel, tickets on the evening, and recognition across different channels and PR in the run-up.
If you know a business that cares about the city, you can help out by introducing them to the team before nominations close at the end of the month.
