Wendy Grace and her two children have grown out of the apartment and she dreams of moving to a bigger home closer to her twin sister.

She decided on the unusual selling method because she felt trapped by the poor Covid economy and her situation of needing to move on with a single income.

Home raffles are fast becoming a popular way to sell properties in uncertain times. Many have been successful in doing so but this property which is in Aylesbury, will be the first one in Bucks.

If not enough tickets are sold, a cash prize will still be won for the amount of 75 per cent of the revenue raised. So far the cash prize stands at £70,000, said Wendy today.

The remainder goes to Raffall, the platform hosting the draw, and Wendy gains nothing but keeps the property.

You can buy a £2.50 at wininbucks.co.uk . The prize will be drawn on Saturday - April 3 - at 9pm.

The prize includes the solicitors fees and stamp duty (up to 2 per cent if applicable at the time). The apartment is a leasehold property (119 years) with one year's annual service fees and ground rent included in the prize. The property is also covered by the NHBC warranty.

"I am so driven knowing that this is going to change someone's life," said Wendy. The winner could live in it mortgage free, rent it out or sell it on."

Wendy said: "By entering, you are also helping me and my children to move on to our next chapter closer to my support network (important as a single mum) so please do share this with your friends and family and spread the word."

She added: "I have been ready to move onto a bigger home for some time and lockdown has made me more determined to do so. My two children and I are currently working, learning, playing, cooking and dining in one living space and it's taking its toll," she said.

You can follow the raffle's progress on social media at Facebook.com/prizehomebucks or on Instagram @prizehomebucks, where Wendy gives regular updates, opportunities to win free tickets and videos.
