Fourteen photos from youngsters between the age of 10-18 have been nominated for the prize.

The 'People's Choice' award is given to the best photo of an animal taken on a mobile device.

The public will vote for their favourite, with winners being announced across three age groups: under 12s, 12-15s and 16-18 year olds.

Samuel's photo is a landscape shot capturing Willen Lake at what appears to be a post-sunset glow. The silhouette of a grey heron is featured at the bottom of the photo, meaning the picture is eligible, whilst also capturing Milton Keynes at its best.
