Milton Keynes venue cancels Franklin Graham 'spiritual renewal' event over breach of the peace fears
The American evangelist son of world famous preacher Billy Graham was due to give a free speech at Marshall Arena.
But in a statement issued today, the Arena has followed in the footsteps of venues in Sheffield and Liverpool by cancelling the booking.
In a statement, a spokesman said: "The Marshall Arena has taken the decision to cancel the event due to be held at the Arena on June 10, 2020.
"This decision has been taken due to our concerns that the event may lead to a breach of the peace, which we believe would have a disruptive effect on our staff, our neighbours at Stadium MK and the inclusive Milton Keynes community."
Both ACC Liverpool and Sheffield Arena shunned Graham this week over his homophobic views.
It's not known at this stage whether the other seven venues will follow suit.
Franklin Graham is the eldest son of Billy Graham and president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, which has had an office in the UK since 1954
