More than £1,000 raised for striker injured in freak collision in Milton Keynes Sunday league football match
A fundraising page set up for a striker who was injured during a freak collision in a Milton Keynes Sunday league football match has raised more than £1,000 since it was set-up.
Kevin Kyei, who plays for Furzton FC, suffered a freak injury 12 minutes into a match in the Wharfside Electrical Milton Keynes Sunday Football League on December 28.

After colliding with the opposition goalkeeper, Kevin was treated by a rapid response team and an emergency response crew.
He was taken to Milton Keynes University Hospital and was told he had broken his tibia and fibia bones.
Kevin is expected to take nine to ten months to make a full recovery, with the page being set up to help him during this time.
Page organiser Bronson Gould wrote: “We have decided to set up this GoFundMe page to try and raise some money to help him on his road to recovery as he will be unable to work during his recovery.
“Hopefully this will take some of the financial pressure off him and allow him to concentrate on his rehabilitation.
“Kevin is one of the kindest, caring individuals you will ever meet. We wish him a speedy recovery and will be with him every step of the way.”
The page, which was started less than 24 hours ago, had raised £1,320 at the time of writing, almost three-quarters of the way towards its initial £1,800 target.
