New Covid cases continue to increase in Milton Keynes as government releases figures for the weekend

Covid infections in MK show no sign of decreasing with 164 new cases and two new hospital deaths recorded over Saturday and Sunday.

Government figures show 91 positive tests were recorded in the city on Saturday and 73 yesterday (Sunday).

The deaths of two more patients brings the total Covid-linked fatalities at Milton Keynes to 26 since the start of November and 130 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Since the government began recording Covid stats in March, there have been 3,343 positive tests in MK.
