New Taco Bell restaurant is proving a red hot success in Milton Keynes

The city centre drive-thru opened on Tuesday last week and queues of dozens of cars were a frequent sight.

Over the weekend, the queues were so long that some people had to wait an hour to be served.

One customer told the Citizen: "We've been eagerly waiting for the opening as we've always been huge fans since having it in America years ago.

"When we heard it was opening in MK we were so excited. But it seems the rest of MK and beyond were too.

"We sat in an hour-long queue and in total getting there getting our food and eating etc it took two hours! So it's not quite fast food when you go at the weekends, and this was a Friday night."

The customer added: "We ended up parking up and going inside instead. The food was great but they may need to do something to speed things up for people."

Other people took to social media to comment about the queues, but the consensus was that the food was worth it.
