Over the past 24 hours, just 22 people have tested positive,

And, even more importantly, MK has seen no new virus-linked deaths for the seventh day running.

Over the past seven days, 127 new cases have been confirmed in the city, and the infection rate has reduced to 47.1 cases per 100,000 people.

In comparison the UK case rate is 56 per 100,000 of the population, while the England rate is 55.5. For many weeks, MK figures have been above the national average.

Meanwhile, throughout the UK there have been 6,397 new cases confirmed and 63 deaths recorded over the past 24 hours.

Up until today 28,991,188 people nationally have received their first Covid vaccinations and 2,775,481 of these have had a second dose.
