Number of new Covid cases soars in Milton Keynes today

The number is creeping up towards 200 again

Another196 people in MK have tested positive for Covid over the past 24 hours.

The city's seven day infection rate today stands at 480.7 cases per 100,000 people. But the national average rate has today dropped right down to 412.2.

Nationally the number of new cases rose to 41.299 today and 293 Covid-linked deaths were registered.
