She visited Aqua Parcs, which is one of the UK’s largest inflatable water courses, for a day of family fun during the August heatwave.

She said: “Having visited Aqua Parcs before, I was excited to return and enjoy a day out with my boys. We had so much fun working our way around the course – and it’s a good workout too! The team were brilliant and we all felt really safe thanks to the new measures they’ve put in place."

During lockdown, Gail has volunteered to carry out swab tests at the drive-in Covid-19 testing station at CMK.

She completed and passed an NHS training programme to do so.

"I have no medical training but I'm fit and healthy - and I felt a deep sense of duty," she said at the time.
