The improvements build on the success of open space in nearby Chepstow Drive and also Leon Park in Central Bletchley. These are both official 'Green Flag' parks,

Cllr Wales said: “We want to create a wonderful open space that meets the needs of local people. Once the work is completed we’re hoping to secure the Green Flag status for Rickley Park as well.

“As well as improving local parks, I want to see the creation of a natural corridor for walkers and cyclists running from the Blue Lagoon to Chepstow Park. This proposal is being fed into the Plans for Bletchley renewal and I have submitted the proposal to West Bletchley Parish Council.
