Firefighters were called to a collision between a lorry and a car on the M1 northbound between junctions 13 and 14 in Milton Keynes last night (Monday).
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue was called just before 7pm to reports of a collision and diesel spill on the motorway.
No one was trapped.
Two appliances and crews from Broughton, one from Newport Pagnell, one from Woburn, one from Kempston and an officer attended.
About 700 litres of diesel was spilled. Firefighters used a dry powder extinguisher.
