Meanwhile a special in-store Skincare Station is offering bespoke consultations and treatments and promising there is an effective and enriching product for every customer’s skin concern and daily routine, regardless of budget.

A spokesman for centre:mk said: "The stand-alone beauty destination by Harrods offers an unparalleled beauty utopia. The 29,000 sq.ft. space brings together a diverse portfolio of premium brands, must-have products and exceptional beauty services and experiences."

She added: "The latest H beauty is an experiential wonderland where beauty addicts and novices alike can find their forever-favourites as well as some of the industry’s most forward-thinking and vibrant brands. This curated product offering, paired with expert-driven service and ever changing retail innovation, creates a new world for beauty enthusiasts to discover, enjoy and enhance their inner and outer wellbeing.

The spokesman said today's opening demonstrates Harrods Beauty’s ambitious journey to bring Harrods leading beauty expertise, curation, and luxury shopping experience to new communities across the UK.

Each store is developed with the local beauty community in mind, bringing the latest must-have products and experiences to local customers, often for the first time. Inclusivity, empowerment, and self-expression lie at the heart of H beauty’s ethos.

Harrods buying team, led by Annalise Fard and Mia Collins, has curated a spectacular offering that empowers the H beauty community to explore and "celebrate their self-identity through beauty".

Annalise, who is director of beauty at Harrods, said: “The latest H beauty opening at centre:mk marks another significant addition to the UK’s beauty retail landscape and I am absolutely delighted to be creating an exciting new destination for our beauty community.

"As well as opening the most beautiful retail destination, we are so excited to be meeting beauty lovers and experts across the local community and bringing them into the H beauty family."

She added: "The new H beauty store at centre:mk will house an array of luxury brands including Dolce & Gabbana, La Mer and Roja Parfums, as well as fantastic beauty services. At Harrods, we take great pride in knowing our beauty community and using our authority in the beauty space to ensure that the portfolio of brands and products across each H beauty store are tailored to suit the local customer, and this is reflected at H beauty centre:mk with the array of beauty collections and services.”

Annalise said the store is framed by a series of dedicated boutiques by some of the biggest names in the industry, from Gucci Beauty’s floral and instantly recognisable décor and Dolce & Gabbana’s stylish beauty and fragrance offering to the luxury sunglass boutique, David Clulow.

A Click & Collect boutique will be available from May 6 for customers who shop online at Harrods.com.

The store will also specialise in perfume and Harrods say the fragrances for sale in H Beauty will emulate the very best of what is offered in the Knightsbridge Beauty Halls.
