Residents in the Oakgrove flats were struggling with no gardens to amuse their children during lockdown, so they chalked hopscotch squares and other activities on the pavement outside their block.
When the chalk washed off, they went over the markings with white water-based paint, which they say will "easily" come off with a jet wash.

."It's amazing how many people stop and comment. We thought it was a positive thing during this tough time," she added.
However, at least one resident was not impressed - and has reported the 'PE pavement' as graffiti.
Now officials from Crest Nicholson housing association have been out to inspect the pavement and take photographs of the markings. The families are currently waiting to hear whether they will be forced to remove them.
