Pick your own pumpkin farm opens for business near Milton Keynes in time for Halloween

The urban farm has doubled the size of its pumpkin patch since last year and planted more than 20 different varieties of pumpkins and squash.

A spokesman said: "We are busy working on some exciting new creations for you all to enjoy when you visit, these include but are not limited to our little monsters bale maze, a giant spiders web, slide land, bale mountain and bale swings."

The amount of tickets will be limited to ensure social distancing at the venue, which is on Stratford Road in Wicken. They will go on sale on Sunday and 9am and are priced at between £1.50 and £1.95 per person. Under twos are free.

The opening dates for this year for pumpkin picking are October 10 and 11, October 17 and 18 and every day between October 21 and 31. Opening hours are 9.30am - 5pm.

The spokesman said: "We are constantly reviewing the government's guidance and ensuring we implement the necessary measures to keep us all safe but still enable us to have fun out in the fresh air."
